The term "old soul" is over used but it's literally the case with this cleaver young tunesmith. His lyrics are mature, well crafted and interesting. His vocal styling is akin to that of Brett Dennan and Ron Sexmith; his performance style is reminiscent of a young Martin Sexton. When he's on stage, he is exactly where he is supposed to be.
"With catchy lyrics and funky tunes, anyone can tell Lucas has an ear for a hook. His original songs reflect a style that is close to Jack Johnson and Jeremy Fisher. I really enjoy listening to this dude every chance I get."- James Slater
"Those tweener sets are pretty tough, but you definitely pulled it off. Great stuff, very entertaining."- Cindy Church
